~Lindsey's Hangin in There with Her Pregnancy~

Good Morning to all my Blogster Friends,
May this post find you all having a beautiful and blessed day as my family and I have been doing very very well with much answered prayer and thanks again for all of you that have been keeping us in your prayers. For Lindsey is doing very well. She is amazing to see as I watch her get through each day. She is still in school as this is her last year in High School as she will graduate June 1st, 2007. Although it has been quite challenging for her as she is getting much bigger in her pregnancy, but she is hangin in there. She is going to her appointment's now every week and the baby is very very active. I believe that she will have at least an 8 lb. 6 oz. Baby. ~SMILE!~ :)~ We will see. Last Monday, I received a phone call from my youngest daughter at school saying that one of Lindsey's teachers came to her class to get her, so that she could come down to the office to be with her sister, because Lindsey was experiencing some contractions. So, immediately I drove to the school to find Lindsey in a bit of pain and mainly in her back. I brought her home, called Triage and they asked me lot's of question's. They informed me that once the contractions get to be 5 to 7 minutes apart, lasting 1 to 3 minutes to bring her in. Well, thank GOD the pain subsided after an hour and after Lindsey took a nice warm bath and lied down on the couch on her left side and I pushed fluids with her, she was much better. Now you talk about getting nervous, I was beyond nervous, here it was 3 weeks early before she was due and I still hadn't had the car seat in the car, or Lindsey or the baby's bag packed yet, so needless to say, what did I do that Monday, besides get Lindsey comfortable? LOL I packed both bags and wen't out to my car and placed the bags in the car and attached the car seat, so now we are all ready!!!!!! LOL :)~ Now, we are at the waiting stage. Lindsey is getting scared but excited also. Her girl friend that was supposed to be due 2 days before Lindsey, which would had been May 2, 2007 wen't into labor this past Sunday evening and had her baby in the middle of the night Monday. So, she had her baby early and all Lindsey could do was think of her girlfriend Samantha and how early she wen't and it just made Lindsey more nervous. Other than all of this, Lindsey's last seizure activity was on April 8, 2007 and it was a small one, but she is doing much better. As of right now, the doctor's are still wanting her to have the baby natural with an early epideral, they have mentioned to me up and down that a cesarean is harder in the long run, only because of the healing time afterwards. We will see how things go. Please continue to keep her in your prayers and know that we appreciate all the prayers that have come our way thus far and that we do know that the power of prayer is awesome.
