What happened yesterday afternoon is what I call a miracle for this lady. Lindsey, Heather, Lauren (a two year old and one of our neighbor's) and I were on our way to finish up some Christmas shopping yesterday afternoon and much to our surprise we come up to a single car roll over accident off of Napoleon Rd. There was only one person involved in the accident, which was a female in her mid thirties. When we came around the curve I noticed two other vehicles just getting ready to stop off the side of the road and I was the third vehicle and I stopped off the side of the road also. I got out of my car and seen that noone was running over to the vehicle that had just rolled over a few times and then rolled sideways into a tree, so I seen the guy in front of me called 911 on his cell phone while I ran over to the car. You could only reach her through the passenger side door and I tried to yank the door open, but I couldn't do it by myself, so then I tried to reach through the busted out window on the passenger side to shut her car off because it was still running and I couldn't even reach the ignition or I would had cut myself all up, so I just attended to the lady until someone else would come and help me because the other two people would only stand back from the car. So another van came by and yelled out, do you need help and I said, "yes....please!" He helped me pry and yank the door open to give the lady a napkin to wipe the blood from her whole right side of her arm. Her seat was busted and her seat belt was still on her, but the drivers side door was shoved into her, so she was in such an awkward position and she was having a hard time not moving because of the position that she was in. It is so amazing that she come out of it with just alot of cuts and blood and she was quite sore, but she kept on asking us to please help her out of the car and that she was ok, that she just wanted out of the car....and we couldn't do that. We told her that she had to sit as still as she could until the ambulance had gotten there or she could cause more injury. The car was totally mangled, she definately had an angel on her side. What a total eye opener and you talk about miracles....that was a miracle in itself. What a way to spend your Christmas. I just pray that she is ok. It sure opened my girl's eyes and they asked me lots of questions and Lauren the little two year old kept on saying, "Jodi do you have band aids for her?" It just made me wan't to cry. What a site to see.
I hope all is well with each and every one of you as I have not been able to blog in quite some time, as I have been extremely busy, but please know that I am wishing each and every one of you a beautiful and blessed Christmas and please be safe in all of your travels. Until next time, take care and GOD Bless. Angeleyes1971
